At sunset last night I took a picture of the setting sun from my front yard. I wanted a picture of the sunset in Texas on January 19, 2009. It would be the last sunset of the Bush administration. I took much comfort in that knowledge. Then I went to dinner with friends. It was good. Food tasted better, the air seemed cleaner, I felt lighter without the benefit or curse of dieting. My friends and I agreed that even though tough times were ahead, they paled compared what we had endured the last eight years. And that, too, as they say, "is all good".
Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get back in that saddle again. What's say we ride into a new dawn? Finest kind. Good stuff.
